Nick Diaz is an American professional boxer and mixed martial artist who has competed in the welterweight and middleweight divisions of the UFC. He is a former welterweight champion in Strikeforce, WEC, and IFC, and a UFC title challenger. Diaz has also competed in PRIDE, EliteXC, DREAM, and Shooto. He is the older brother of former UFC fighter Nate Diaz, and together, they have significantly influenced the sport of MMA.
